digital technology can't do everything!
Don't expect computers to do everything for you! teachers remain the most important part of the process! both as educators discussing what is on the computer with children and accessing peripherals to maximize engagement, as participants in the decisions about what should be on the computer, and continuing to capture the teachable epiphany in the format most accessible to the learner, her peers, and her family. Here's the challenge!

are you sure we don't get pizzas? hmmmm. I like the way we develop relationships with families and I thought on line stuff might get away from this. I've just realised that I don't get to talk with everyone all the time- on line might be the only way for us to get a realistic level of feedback. It's a bit daunting but I accept this as realistic. maybe we all need processes that involve a range of access and response. Penny
